A beautiful and professionally produced audio documentary covering a chapter or a theme in your storyteller's life. In our 40-minute recorded interview, I use questions and gentle prompts to help the storyteller to share their chosen stories and memories.
We cover one chapter or one theme in your storyteller’s life. Their childhood, your family, or your career, maybe, or we explore a theme that has been important to you; such as luck, travel, or love maybe. This is then crafted into a 20- 30 minute audio portrait.
How it works
Step One - Your 40-minute Story Discovery Call
After purchasing your Audio Portrait Gift Voucher, our storyteller will receive a link to book a 40-minute Story Discovery Call, where they meet me - their interviewer- and we start thinking about the stories they might like to capture and choose a recording platform, such as Zoom, Riverside, etc.
Step Two
We will also ask our storyteller to confirm their selection by completing our story choice questionnaire.
Step Three - The Recording Session.
We are now ready to record. I will ask gentle questions and use prompts to help the storyteller to tell stories and share memories.
This can follow on immediately after the Discovery call, or can be a week or two later,
Step Four
Now it is over to us to create for you, your very own Audio Portrait, this will be sent to you on a USB stick in a beautiful gift box, along with a download you can share with friends and family.

Recording quality for remote interviews: We will work with each of our storytellers to use the most suitable technology for their interview. We will advise and support our storytellers to help get the best sound recording. While we will do our very best we can not guarantee the quality of a remote recording.
I don't take on projects that include racism, discrimination, or personal attacks against others. If communication or content becomes hurtful, I reserve the right to gently step away from the project.
